As you know. yesterday was Super Bowl Sunday. It’s a day when eating is usually off the charts…at least for me.
And it was like no other Super Bowl Sunday. I really let her rip! I had no condemnation though because I knew it would be the last time for a very long while when I would be able to chow down that way because today I am starting Dr. Ian Smith’s diet, SHRED.
I’ve tried many diets in the past but what I see differently with this one is that you get to eat lots of food and most of the food is food I already eat. The biggest thing is the timing of when you eat and doing cardio 5 times a week.
You even get to eat ice cream, cookies and other goodies! I love that because if I had to cut it out altogether I’d be a wreck.Too much of a shock to my system
While I’m still on the Weight Watchers plan, I’m incorporating SHRED into the plan because Weight Watchers is less about what you eat (although they encourage more wholesome foods for volume without calories) and more about how much you eat.
So on SHRED I will be eating 6-7 times a day (gotta set my alarm for this one!) and tracking what eat in my Weight Watchers Points Plus tracker on my iPhone.
Stay tuned for my next Mamavation Monday post when I will share some of the foods I got to eat this week.
Have you seen Dr. Ian’s promotions on TV for the SHRED diet?

YES! I ate way too much pizza yesterday, but I am excited to get back in my groove today! Good luck with SHRED! You can do it!
Now that’s the one food I didn’t eat! It was mostly junk food
I didn’t get to indulge. The 5yr old+Disney channel=no one around here cared there was a superbowl
I managed to keep up with my healthy choices this time.
I keep hearing about the Shred; I wish you well with it!

ha I wish I were with the Disney channel. I didn’t even watching anything but the half time show and part of the commercials!
Thanks
