First, I want to give honor to the late great Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Today is not his actual birthday but it’s the day that this nation of ours has chosen to commemorate it. With sacrifices like his, I may not be able to sit here freely and share my thoughts in a public space.

Sucking down, gulping down pizza and indulging in ice cream. Yep, that’s been about all I can say about my diet as of the past month.
I had a hard time staying focused on eating right and working out. It’s usually one or the other or neither for me. I’ve had ups and downs but one thing that stays at the forefront of my thinking is, ” It’s never too late to refocus and begin again.”
Pepper Scraps is hosting a challenge to drink more water. It’s a very simple challenge yet it could be the catalyst to get me back on track with my fitness goals.
I also renewed my Weight Watchers membership and oddly enough, my first weigh in for the year was actually impressive. In spite of the crappy eating and the sporadic workouts, I managed to maintain my pre-holiday weight of 174 pounds.
That was nothing but the grace of God giving me a chance to start again. It’s time to kick things in gear this year. So, here’s my public recommitment. Feel free to check in on me to see how things are going

I’ve had a rough couple of months too. It’s time to get this body moving in the right direction! You can do it too!
thanks Jen
I am right there with you with struggling to eat right. Good luck hun!
Yay Kelly. We can do it!
You can totally do this! Congratulations on not having a wild weigh-in, that’s awesome. Refocusing can be a pain in the butt, but when you’re ready to do it, you’re ready! I hope you have an amazing week!
Thank you Joanna
