in Scripture & Spirit

I know I haven’t posted a Scripture ad Spirit post in some time now but I am resuming these.

While I am still on the fence about whether I should keep this blog going or not, until that time I want to keep posting things I find will be helpful to others. Some day, somone in need may read these posts and even if it’s just 5 people, it’s worth it.

So, today’s topic is quite appropriate. “The Rebound

scriptures for life's problems

Webster’s dictionary defines rebound as:

- to recover from setback or frustration
- to spring back on…
- to gain possession of…

I don’t know about you but every now and then life appears to knock me right on over. When that occurs, rebounding is the only option. Sometimes it’s difficult but God’s Word empowers us and gives us encouragement. Here are some scriptures:

Isaiah 41:10 – fear not, for I am with you; be not dismayed, for I am your God; I will strengthen you, I will help you, I will uphold you with my righteous right hand.

1 Corinthians 10:13 – No temptation has overtaken you that is not common to man. God is faithful, and he will not let you be tempted beyond your ability, but with the temptation he will also provide the way of escape, that you may be able to endure it.

Proverbs 3:5 – Trust in the LORD with all thine heart; and lean not unto thine own understanding.
